Postdoctoral Fellow

As a postdoctoral fellow in the Heath group, I am part of an immunotherapy team developing advanced biotechnologies to provide a New and Powerful way to treat cancer. My work is to genetically engineer the cytotoxic CD-8 (+) T-cells to be more tumor specific through the TCR seq and CRISPR/Cas9 technology.
During my Ph.D. journey, I was involved in engineering several integrated microfluidic devices for blood sample preparation, single cell manipulation and single cell proteomics study.
As future work, I would like to combine my prior training in microfluidics with a genome editing techniques to develop a microfluidic-based in vitro assay chip capable of predicting a response to immunotherapy through the multi-omics analyses.
