Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. JingXin Liang is a postdoctoral fellow at Institute for Systems Biology. She has worked in the fields of organic chemistry, theoretical chemistry, and chemical biology. JingXin obtained her Bachelor of Science from Temple University in 2011 where she completed electronic structure studies on the photophysics of DNA. She continued her education at the California Institute of Technology, where she earned her Ph.D. in 2018. Her research focused on the development of peptidomimetics against infectious disease biomarkers for rapid diagnostics and therapeutics. JingXin is interested in cancer biology — her current research at ISB focuses on therapeutics for glioblastoma and understanding cell state changes that induce drug tolerance/resistance.
